Music Monday // 014 —Everything Like Summer

That moment when you’re trying to curate the perfect playlist that embodies everything you love about summer, but the list of music possibilities is endless. What do you do?!? I guess we could just make it all Drake songs and keep it moving.

Though this summer has been dominated by Drake, it doesn’t mean he’s the undisputed summer hit-maker. To me, a Song of the Summer is one that’s not only impossible to ignore, but one that ends up defining those fond memories of sizzling heat and at times drizzly rainy days. So how do we curate music that covers endless moments of summer romance, midnight swims, beach days, travel, getting gassed up with the homies, or simply sweating it out at the gym to keep that summer body snatched? This playlist aims to do a bit of that, with some hits of both summer’s past and new.
